One of Russia's central television channels, RTR, has recently aired a documentary about US astronauts who allegedly came across extraterrestrial civilizations. The film showed Russian ufologist Vladimir Azhazha and astronomer Yevgeny Arsyukhin telling that expeditions to the Moon launched within 1969-1972 allegedly came across UFOs.

Aliens forced Americans out from the Moon

The film stated that lunar creatures would not tolerate the presence of Earth dwellers for long. When Americans brought a dummy car to furrow Moon craters, the creatures living on the satellite began to demonstrate their furious protest against the US presence on the Moon. Filmmakers said that green dwellers of the Moon told Americans to go home as they wanted to keep secret the sublunar bases that they used to observe the life on the Earth. It was alleged that NASA was afraid of conflicting with a highly developed civilization and immediately stopped the program. Does the film sound believable?

YES. It is why we havnt been back to the moon. Yes they say they dont have the money for that but they the Rover on Mars didnt they? We probably could get to Mars and back but ET probably dosnt want us too. Has the government thought about making a base on the moon. Most likely. But we "cant" do that.....

if it's true, who could fault the aliens? look what we've done to the earth ... why wouldn't the aliens stop us from messing up another place? lol

it would be nice if buzz or any of the USA astronauts fessedup before they go to their graves. we all know that there was something fishy about the moon landing. not to get off tract but 9-11 also. the government would like nothing better than to shut these conspiracy forums down.

I think they will. They probably made the same mistakes we are making everyday and one day will "warn" us about it. They figured out how to get past their problems and now look at them. Traveling the galaxy and visiting other planets like its their local grocery store. Why else would they be here watching us and studying us?

If the US was warned away from the moon, why are they, along with several other nations, now investing so much money in returning? What is Project Orion? A declaration of war against the moon dwellers?

There is no doubt that both the Americans and the Russians have encountered aliens during their missions. Some of those missions seemed hostile/defensive (ie.The Russian ship that was vapourised whilst approaching mars) but the Lunar trips, whilst laced with close encounters, did not to my knowledge present any warning or danger.
Now that many nations including the above are set for a serious and permanent return to the moon - what might have changed if there once was a danger presented ??

Over The 16 years of its existence Apollo cost $19,408,134,000 in 2009 dollars thats about $78,616,031,036.99 or $4.9 per year http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/history/apollo/

The difference is simple the shuttle is like a professional photographers camera the Apollo is like an amusement park disposable camera. If they cost the same which do you buy?

Aliens don't come to the Sol System, we're boring and out of the way compared to shorter travel distances between star systems towards the galactic core.
