Did anybody else see this?
It was on the old board but I forgot who saw it.
I did. I liked it actually.
Next week I have the Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter coming on Netflix.
It's basiclly just an animated short. Hopefully it's good.

You are kidding me Lashmar right...?
It has been all over the news when it was an actual news...
Aquarian posted that topic...

It´s a movie based on a comic book about some guy who becomes like a God as he can control everything to the smallest atoms and do whatever he wants.
Or whatever.
And he has a big blue dick    ;)

It was a 12 issue comic book series written by Alan Moore and drawn by Dave Gibbons that was printed by DC comics in 1986.

It's a story about a group of government sanctioned superheroes (though really only one has "super powers") that have been forced out of their activites by the government that no longer needs them.

But there is a murder loose and one of the them actively goes after the murder, causing trouble all on his own because of his violent tatics.

Eventually the whole group is brought back together for one common purpose. One of their own has gone rogue.

It's writing is heavily influenced in the time it was written, during the Cold War, and Alan Moore uses this as the setting and the reason what transpires in the book.

It was pretty hilarious, because in the movie they don't show Dr. Manhattan (the glowing blue guy) full frontal for like, the first five minutes of his screen time.

Then all of a sudden BAM!

Blue penis.

Not as good as the comic, but still a damn good movie.

Characters were really well cast, special effects were fantastic, etc.

Give it a try.

I haven't even seen the movie yet. I should have explianed that my description was an attempt at a spolier-free synopsis of the comic series.

I really have no idea how closely the movie follows the books.
