does anybody know what happened to the mig 1.44 after the program ended? Did it go to a museum or is it still in flight testing or what?

sorry hate to tell you this but this guy didn't even know this was a prototype and out of production, he was only proposing using the plane.

Russia did not get any in 2008 according AW&ST

One thing you wont find online is the yearly military aircraft inventory that AW&ST has been known to print, you'll probably need to go to the library and go through back issues. According to wikipedia today though the "Flatpack" is not in production. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MiG_1.42

yeah I know, since I get aw I can look there but so far they haven't included prototypes for the us so im not that hopeful. But thanks
