Do you think Obama should have a third term? Democratic Congressman Jose R. Serrano says he, or any other President, should not have term limits - and have 3, 4 or even 5 terms. He (re)introduced a bill to abolish the 22nd amendment to the Constitution in January of this year.

Check out the proposed document to amend the Constitution at: http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/BILLS-113h ... es15ih.pdf This link offers the download directly from the GPO.

Make sure you contact his offices, and voice your opinion about the destruction of the 22nd Amendment:

Franklin Roosevelt was President for 12 years (three terms), if Obama is voted in for a third term then its fine, dont forget it takes time to settle in a job and learn the system, and the experience you gather during the first term in office is essential, so wouldnt it make him more experienced in his role as President?

Apparently this block head proposes the bill every year, and it gets shot down. But if it ever did pass, wow... I'm pretty sure the revolution would commence.
