On one hand you are praising the courts, but on the other the very same courts that protected these rights, also protected a handful of Westborrow Baptists, to violate others, by harassing them in a time of complete grief, when they are turning to God for help, and worshiping while burying their dead. I am a bit confused by the balance of logic you are talking about. Unfortunately our system is a confliction of rights at times, and both voters and the courts are divided. Which right should prevail? and how to we guarantee that those rights are protected? What you propose is the oppression of Religious Freedom. Freedom of religion was interfered with, when the highest court in our land, gave permission to Westborrow to invade a town they are not from, and protest against gays and lesbians, at the funerals of these children, at the school there were slandered in? They sided with their freedom of speech to be used in a despicable way. This is the logic of Liberal thinking, when common decency has to be disregarded, in defining our rights. We do not know what is right and wrong anymore, it is all lost in some fog of disappearing boundaries or common decency. That "puke ins" were a form of Freedom of Speech, disregarding the poor fool with the mop and bucket. Who shouldn't feel violated to have to contend with these idiots within hearing distance and eyesight, while you are praying?

You may want to strike all religion out of our system, but you just saw the President invoke, as he should, that even countries like ours need God for some sort of guidance. What amazes me is how people will care less about one of their rights, in order to exploit another. Unless you think it is better to have a totally Atheist society, completely void of religion, you may want to look at the history of that in our world behind the iron curtain, and also of the countries that are completely Islamic, before you condemn Christian religions.

People will defend what ever causes fit their agenda, and completely ignore their other rights in the process, giving them no value at all. While labeling them all as hate groups, these gay rights activists have become religious bigots in the process, since universally no religion embraces those choices. Religious persecution is a common theme with these groups, so who is the ones that are the hate groups? Seems to be a lot of similarity between them, and the Atheist hate groups, who if they could would irradicate religions.

I'm not the one making arguments that religious people aren't people.
