But you're right, I missed that one. Most sites call it an occupation, but it has 'war' in the title.

I'm a bit surprised to see an American raise the issue of Iraqi Kurds, seeing as it was America, in the form of former President GW Bush, that repeatedly urged the Kurds to rise up against Saddam Hussein on the promise of support and protection. So when they did rise up, with whatever they had to hand, and neither the promised help nor protection materialised, Hussein's troops slaughtered them. Not only with gas either.

Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia because there were 3 million Germans living in the newly expanded Czechoslovakia, after the Treaty of Versailles. he also wanted the Czech army and any resources available.

What were the Hawaiians doing when they got bombed by the Japanese?

Hosting a massive American fleet of warships...

Yes I did add something, evidently you just ignored the link to the UK also having wars. You are not exactly a neutral country, and you had no problems with a little confrontation over the Falkland Islands, like they matter to the UK at the southern tip of South America. The mainland of the UK, was not exactly hit by 4 airplanes crashing into London, killing 3500 people on a Monday morning. The UK also asked the USA for its support during that. Like John said, learn you own history.

So what the UK also has also had wars? That wasn't the topic, and you know it. The discussion is about how the 'war on terror' something uniquely American even in its name, is working out for you now.
It is about how military assets like drones and all-seeing night-and-day cctv and other things are now being turned inwards on you and your own as a way of 'keeping you safe.'

.....No...Nor did we suffer a million deaths in retaliation for something we never did either. Your "3,500 dead people on a Monday morning" is a pitiful number compared to the killing spree the US has been on, and still is, right now.

Very funny, the UK was every bit involved as you know, and was also involved in the first gulf wars. You are singing the same song now as you did in the past, thinking the terrorists are victims.
