And today's words of wisdom are brought to you by Al Gore. This is in regards to the performance of President Obama at the debate last night. "Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today — just a few hours before the debate started," Gore said on his network, Current. "Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet, and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don't know..."

Huh?

Even Chris Matthews lost that tingle up his leg, and said Romney, "was winning." I never thought I'd say this... but Chris Matthews... I couldn't agree more.

Ever watch a boxing match, that IS also one on one, and see the loser make excuses? Granted this was Gore not Obama, but please do not embarrass Obama, like Gore embarrassed himself losing the election to Bush. He is still crying over Florida, that got counted, and recounted, over and over, Bush won far and square.

I think even Obama is man enough to just admit, Romney out debated him in the first debate, and not grovel in excuses, just say Great debate and leave it alone.

As far as getting altitude sickness at 5000 feet, yes that can happen, but it doesn't happen to people like Obama, who you see going up and down stairs like Air Force one, like he was a teenager trotting, and looking cool for the photo op. He is in good shape, 5000 feet would not bother him. Besides Romney wasn't standing in a mile deep hole, with mile long legs, he was at 5000 feet, standing right next to him. They were 2 boxers in the same ring, AND THE BEST MAN WON! What do they say in the ring? PROTECT YOUSELF AT ALL TIMES!

I've been enjoying the excuse making from the left. It's been hilarious for me, personally. Obama got whooped last night, that's it. Even some of his staunchest supporters concede that. The EU is unsettled as well since he's a Socialist and steering our country in that direction. I don't like Romney but I have to admit he stomped Obama last night, not that I had any doubts he would. He actually knows what the hell he's talking about whereas Obama is a teleprompter president. I've heard Romney was once a garbageman, I don't know if that's true but if it is I'd say that makes him a better candidate for the American Dream than Obama.

In my opinion, Obama was exposed last night. He kept trying to find ways to recycle old speeches. His responses were so off topic and strange, it was just awkward. He kept trying to frame everything to be inline with his canned responses. The whole thing was just bizarre. I didn't expect anything different, mind you, it's just that I can't fathom him having any support at this point yet he still does. Just goes to show how far some Americans will go to tow the party line. The truth really hurts and sometimes our defenses tend to override or compensate for that truth. That's the only way I can conclude anyone would support this obvious Socialist.

Watching both of these goons was pathetic enough, but the way Obama scuttled along was laughable at best. The president had multiple chances to go straight for the neck and cripple Romney, but instead he just kept looking at his feet or whatever the he was doodling in his notes and let Romney run the pace.

Their talk on social security is when I had to mute it and go throw a table into the sun. "Social security is structurally sound"? Maybe for the yokels who are above the age of 45. At least they got the assurance that, "We have no intention of changing anything for the ones who are already drawing from SS/Medicare/Medicaid or are getting ready to..."; oh well gee, thanks Mr. President and Governor! Good to know that you plan on leaving anyone 30 and under six feet and buried.

At least it was my parents that let me down softly on how I won't have a safety net in 40-something years, and not you goofballs.

These guys are my choices? Just toss me into the nearest asteroid and let me be done with it.

I'm not sure what I'll do yet, it's a toss up between writing in Ron Paul or voting Gary Johnson. I can't stand Romney or Obama either.

Ha! Oh yes, Gore, you surely have the immense, profound insight that we need for our political apparatus! You go ahead with your proclamations and continue to deride independent, genuinely progressive political movements whilst Obama finds himself mostly agreeing with what Romney had to say. I think it was demonstratively clear from the debate that both men are more similar than different.

I am by nature very conservative. Do not mistake this with being Republican. The two are not the same.

I happen to think that neither Republicans nor Democrats are the product advertised.

I have also watched the Dog and Pony Show long enough to realize that any legitimate business which does not deliver the product advertised...cannot stay in business long. People will go somewhere else or stop buying the product. A legitimate business will lose out to their competitors if they do not deliver the product advertised.


Yet here we are voting every so many years for two political parties who are incapable of delivering the product advertised...and we don't go somewhere else for a product or create our own??

Does this not tell you that we have a serious problem here with the system in play?? That it does not offer you serious alternatives or options?? Does it not tell you that there is a rigged system here in play??

Does it not tell you that the so called Republican Conservative political party is not really conservative if they are not going out of their way to teach you this simple truth??

Are some of you beginning to understand something now about the Dog and Pony Show?? Something not taught or presented to you in the MSM or Public Education??

Think it through ..do not emote..but think.

May be a dog and pony show but its the only show you have. It is a shame that a equally strong 3rd party can not get off the ground. A few have tried, but just can not get enough steam to be a formitable force. Seems only logical that in a system where we are divided into 3 classes, the rich, the poor, and the middle class, that only 2 political parties would be dominant, and not 3 like the classes.
