Italy court upholds American convictions
By COLLEEN BARRY
Associated Press / September 19, 2012
ROME - Italy's highest criminal court on Wednesday upheld the convictions of 23 Americans in the abduction of an Egyptian terror suspect from a Milan street as part of the CIA's extraordinary rendition program, paving the way to possible extradition requests by Italian authorities.
...
Milan Prosecutor Armando Spataro, one of Italy’s top anti-terrorism magistrates who shaped the prosecution, hailed the top court’s decision, saying it was tantamount to a finding that extraordinary rendition ‘‘is incompatible with democracy.’’

You miss the point totally that in all those examples of Military justice, they are now facing Federal charges, not a state or local charge. Secondly they are judged by a much more strict standard of a militay jury, not a civilian jury. Third that civilian defense attorneys are not going to turn the trial into a fiasco of creating unreasonable doubt and getting accused off scott free by duping a jury picked from random civilians. The crossection of civilian juries are picked certain ways to get people off, where military juries will not have this element of jury manipulation by lawyers.
In case you did not know it, it was the USA who interviened with the UK telling them NOT to enter the embassy of Equdor. It was the USA who was advocating NOT violating their diplomatic position in the UK, and NOT entering the embassy to get Assange. The State Deptment implored the UK to comply with this and they did.
To date the USA has no arrest warrent for Assange whatsoever.
Glad you are making friends with someone---what a surprise its a jerk like Hxxx!
