Watched the closing til the end. Like the opening, some of it was a mystery to us. Enjoyed the 2 weeks very much, and a good way to beat our heat wave, where it was too hot to do anything but stay inside. Glad to get back to normal now. Believe it or not its only 18 months until the Winter Games, and Russia has sent a fortune developing an area, they said did not even have a Market. Now its a major airport, and hotels, and building all the venues now, in hopes it will be a major worldwide tourist place after. Hope they are right, they have over 60,000 workers building it now.

Well I can not imagine the amount of air traffic leaving London today, and how that city is going to go back to normal like it never happened. Reminds me of the years we celebrated New Years in Pasadena with the Rose Parade, and how by next morning everything was cleaned up, like it never happened. The town empty of out of towners, life right back to normal.
