Out here in Los Angeles they just arrested a UC porfessor, for plotting to do something really horrific to the high school, that his son committed suicide at several months ago hanging himself.. Something of this magnitude from the sound of it. Not sure all the details yet, but said he had started several fires reciently. People are snapping in the least imaginable places, and doing senseless things. This man in Colorado, should have been looking at a future with a college degree in a well needed area of research, all just a total waste now.

I think Holmes has a weak mind.

I wonder if that Schizophrenia expert feels at all responsible. I wonder if he should.

It's up to us to judge such things.

From a legal standpoint, most people in that sort of position is a mandated reporter. Meaning that if he was planning to F*** up a movie theater, the person is required by law to report such desires.

From a practical standpoint, the shooter might as well been the schizophrenia expert.

The person that sold him so many rounds and guns is somewhat responsible but to solve that problem, of giving guns to bad guys, is to take away all guns.

That might open the door for a far greater evil.

Well, anything we do might open a door for a lot more evil things to happen.

If he truly has Schizophrenia then we have to go back to day one, and Ol Mom saying you have the right person, and hearing her clarification of what she ment by that statement. Now if this is true, be did not just get it is Colorado, this has been something his parents have delt with for a very long time IMHO. He didn't grow up uneventfully, earn a college degree or 2, and suddenly become Schizophrenic. Mom and Dad know a lot more than they are admitting to, and why they have an attorney now.

As far as the gun companies being responsible, the guns are reported to all be legal guns, 2 of them bought from the Bass Pro Shop store. There legal obligations I would think are iron clad legal, so you can not blame them. Not sure about other sales, but they better have all the paperwork 100% perfect. I'm sure they have grilled them totally already, and sure those salesman were sweating bullets about it. Can you imagine seeing the guys face in the news and know you made that sale?
