As far as I'm concerned, Obama is still a possible participant in the Rod Blagoavich/Jesse Jackson Jr. Senator position if you remember Obama vacated. Mrs Obama got her deal on the home they live in at a very quetionable price and deal, and it was brokered by Blago's Wife. There was a very tight relationship, and very questionable payoff in the form of their home.

Incumbant Presidents rarly dump a VP, it is considered political suicide to do that, unless a situation of health, or age, or well known personal problem like the impending death of a spouse or child. Romneys choice could make or break him, and this week a lot of talk has been about Condelessa Rice. She herself is more qualified than Obama ever was.

At the time, Obama was in a small but rising position in Chicago Politics, and the property in question, leaves a lot of eyebrows raised over its being pushed through, by those with the power to rubber stamp it off, and at a price that can not be cosidered a good deal and good fortune, it was payola for what is in the future. Its called Graph, a kickback, or a bribe, and payoffs are part of the Chicago corruption mill. They have more Governors in prison than any other State. What does he become but a US Senator, with a Govornor who's wife quietly set this house deal up. Now he owes them. Small town corruption is not always some monumental crime like Al Capone, its real estate deals, slip a zoning change through, use the city to zone out old communities, and let the fat cats bulldose them out. Corporations like housing tract builders, had the banks and local polititians in their pockets, and Obama was a community planner.
