Your experience with doctors sounds similar to my experience with the religious.

Were they the ones selling Wellbutrin for all kinds of off-label purposes?

I hear ya man. Same here. I really should go to church, but, I haven't for years. Generally speaking when it comes to Evangelical congregations... once you go, they get your number. If you don't go back, they call you and ask ".... is everything ok?" Then they continue to call until you come back. Soon, they begin to use the Scriptures to convince you that it is your duty to help the church in some way. If you don't take on a task (which binds you into coming to church every week), then you are noticeably frowned upon by many in the congregation. And then there is that matter of tithing, and then the matter of helping the missionaries and their outreach, and the matter of helping the church expand... and before you know it... you are faced with this: Either pay 50% of your earnings to the church and be there every Sunday to help with duties assigned, or you're a heretic and black-listed.

No thanks. The fellowship is nice but, I've never been one to be told how to live by people I hardly know. I'll take fellowship with at1with0 any day.

Frrosted was just being satirical, it's a shame it was almost the most accurate thing he has said :P
