Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought - a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities"

A simulated reality would still share an essential property of realness with the reality which is simulating it.

The simulation would be subject to the rules of the meta-reality programming instructions.

The sim could also be. by virtue of its reflexive nature, ironically less constrained by the unitive ruleset of the reality subsuming it.

This is true. We could simulate a reality where beings could levitate and fly in their simulated world, unconstrained by the physical rules of our meta-reality that contains it..

Then it's a matter of figuring out which rules can be bent and how far, and which rules can be broken.
