Self awareness is awareness of changing self.

Self modification is therefore a prerequisite to self awareness. :naughty:

Seems like a leap.

It should say, "changing self is therefore a prerequisite to self awareness."

Khan's logical insights have really gone downhill lately.
Assimilation by the Borg should fix him right up.

Can symbols inherently be true or false?

I think strings of symbols, which are just symbols, can point to truths but in themselves are not truths.

There can be no awareness without change. Self reference is a prerequisite to self modification and self modification is a prerequisite to self awareness. Self change IS self modification... At1with0 and Dissonator are so hopelessly melancholy that they cannot see the forest for the trees... :boohoo:
