Anything that is a contradiction in terms is self extinguishing.

Married bachelors, square circles, invisible pink unicorns and other paradoxical things that lead to nonsensical results, make language worthless for expressing truth. There is no point if everything is true and everything is false. It is only good for insane clown trolls to use to cause confusion. :wall:

I guess it's too far beyond your tidy little island of thought to consider there may be some things that are only perceived to be contradictory.

You are making excuses and you are posting straw-man aspersions that do nothing to state any points. You distort the meaning of words in an ad hoc manner that reveals a highly sophisticated troll mind.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_distortion

Cognitive distortions are exaggerated and irrational thoughts, identified in cognitive therapy and its variants, which in theory perpetuate some psychological disorders. The theory of cognitive distortions was presented by David Burns in The Feeling Good Handbook in 1989,[1] after studying under Aaron T. Beck.[2] Eliminating these distortions and negative thoughts is said to improve mood and discourage maladies such as depression and chronic anxiety. The process of learning to refute these distortions is called "cognitive restructuring".

Have you considered the possibility that language is worthless for expressing truth?

Language approximates truth, it is not worthless for expressing truth, until contradictions are allowed.

Algorithmic complexity can express any truth with enough computational power.

What if the truth is that there are contradictions?

What if the contradictions are the result of an oversimplification of a complex algorithm?

Then only a language equipped to handle contradictions would approximate truth.

A square circle can exist. Free your mind.

All kinds of contradictions are possible in language. Can any of them approximately express a nondual or higher truth?
