AFTER THE RAIN COMES THE SUN. Always remember that.
I needed to hear and see that one today
(the rain here today has not let up and has made me grouchy all day)
How many people, I wonder, sit and meditate on the significance of all that goes on around us in nature. Storm, rainbow, sun; Fall, Winter, Spring; something dies, and ends up sustaining the life of something else (animals, insects).
When we have a problem... a storm... we should take heed and have faith that eventually the clouds will disperse and make way for the sun. When we see ourselves getting old and gray (Winter)... we should take heed and know that when we physically die, we are then reborn (Spring).
Nature is screaming at us to understand these things. Do we listen?
"But let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about Jesus being a great teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to." C.S. Lewis
