It is a perception nonetheless.

You have three choices only


1. You alone are perceiving the perception of your thoughts

2. Something else is perceiving the perception of your apparent thoughts for you and making you feel as if it were you.

3. Something else, AND you, are perceiving the perception of your thoughts

The second choice appears to be ridiculous and thus is false so that leaves 1. and 3.

3. is possible but is unprovable so the best choice would be 1.
