I recently saw a news scroll on a tv news channel (I was bored) about Mormons apologizing to the family of Simon Wiesenthal for Baptizing dead holocaust victims.

You know, sometimes I think some groups of people are in a contest to see who can be the most ridiculous. First, why would anybody care if a dead person was baptized? Second, why would anybody be baptizing a dead person? Baptism only works when you're alive.

Why would Jews be offended by Baptism? Baptism was invented (for all intents and purposes) by John the Baptist, who was a Jew, and who baptized other Jews. I mean c'mon, Baptism is nothing more than a spiritual awakening and enlightenment, dying in the darkness (of the flesh) and being reborn in the light (of salvation). Who would be offended by that? Seems like a positive thing to me. Jesus was Baptized, he was a Jew. He wasn't that big a fan of it however.

I can understand Jews not accepting Baptism as part of their religion. Its just a ceremony, like any other. If the RCC was trying to force them to do it then that would be a problem, obviously, but someone Baptizing dead people is harmless and certainly not an insult.

The world really is becoming an ideocracy.

Maybe baptizing dead Jews brings a sense of violation because it is a redefinition of who they are, at least as far as their religion is concerned. I'm kind of a dummy and I don't know if Jews baptize people but if the person performing the ceremony is Christian and is baptizing in the name of the father, holy ghost, and son, that is a problem. It's like trying to convert someone after their death.

How can you convert someone who is dead? They've already moved on to whatever. They've already been judged, if that happens at all. But like I said, I think both sides are kookoo.

Between Mormons, Jews, Catholics, and Neo-Socialist "Progressive" Statists, I think we've got enough kookiness to go around. Reminds me of a South Park episode where Cartman goes into the future and is surrounded by atheists, but different groups, and they war over what atheists should be called, United Atheist Alliance, Unified Atheist League or Allied Atheist Allegiance. That's what happens when idiots get hold of a thesaurus.

I misspelled Idiocracy, doh! I'ma idiot but that what hapens when yur surounded by idiuts all day. At least I don't talk like a fagg.

Talking Heads? Offensive? Nah. My favorite song is Mr. Jones. I wrote a screenplay based on that song once. It was hilarious. It was about a hit man who kills people in really funny ways, like one guy who was offed by getting hit in the head with a beach ball, really hard. And what's weird is that I was thinking about that right before watching the video and what do you know, there is a beach ball in the video. I do that all the time.

But what do you think David Byrne trying to say?
