Looks like more of their people are arriving from the home world. Probably to check on the progress of the invasion.

Reminds a little of the sci-fi series V because they claim to have good intentions but in reality are scheming.
What if it were true?

They have established air and orbital superiority, our governments know this. What I see is a compliance by our governments, to assist in the invasion in the hopes of being spared themselves. A foolish buying-in to the guise of peace.
