And to prove you're seeing things slanted, Jaydees has pointed out that (In the very article you posted) Bush shook Chavez' hand eight years prior! Too which, of course, you had no complaint. Probably had no knowledge of it either.

President Bush did shake their hands. But he did it while not bad mouthing his country afterward.


I have never seen an American President play the Appeaser role so well. Or appologize to every country that comes along. I think The Chosen one forgets how much our children died for this country and others.

Hey, disagree with the mans policy all you want, no problem there. After all, I disagreed with Bush being in office, I must admit I've looked a lot less into American policy in the last 3 years though, and as such I really don't know much about Obamas decision beyond what I read in the news. As such I'm not going to argue his policies. Just so you're aware, I do disagree with the decisions I've read about, but the media has a way of slanting things, so I take it with a grain of salt.


The point remains that Obama is being criticized for shaking hands with a socialist, when Bush was not criticized from the lot of you when he shook hands with socialists.

My intention was to provoke self-thought, not to argue about whether or not Obama is doing the right thing.

The picture is the picture. Leftist mental midgets do not believe things with out some sort of picture. The bash is about Dear Reader wanting to normalize relations with a country that has nationalized American Company assets, is overthrowing the constitution in his country, and is taking more power by the day.
