Your down East country hun ?

For the moment. Hopefully within a year I'll be long rid of this place. I was meant to be going to the US for an exploration trip before April but something more important popped up so I'm delaying that for a little while.

Ohh sounds interesting hun, I wish I had the chance to travel..................maybe some day before I leave the plane xxx

Fascinated with graveyards and all that....It must be the energy.
Well look forward to seeing you around the vault! :)

New York, Northern California and Miami. I'm not going there for a holiday though (I really don't want to go to Miami, trust me) I'm going there to research my idea.

This mate:

http://www.ncalcricket.org/

The Indians Enjoy cricket (same as Polo and Hockey) and where ever they go they take there sports with them. I'm not really interested in anything other than finding out what sort of Relationship they have with the people who run Cricket in the USA. It's a nice combination of something I'm good at, I was an inch away from joining one of the Major teams (it would have basically put me in the top 730-750 cricketers in England, out of about 830,000 ish), something which is taking off and me being both sly and quick on the up take.

I know the people who run Cricket very well (not personally obviously  ) and I know they're greedy bastards who will chase money like nothing else; they reckon there is a £800 million market in the US and I know which side of that money I'm going to be standing on. I don't care about the money at all to be honest, I'm probably going to end up funding my idea myself with my own money, so long as I get out of this country and so long as I can prove many people wrong.

If I can get to California in a the next year and find out how the US system works then all I need to do in contact one other person and I'm all but in the US. I've got a long list of goals and slowly I'm ticking them off. :D

Besides if my idea doesn't work I asked Sandra to marry me, she said yes by the way (we're wildly in love if you haven't guessed :P   ).

Northern California would be a nice place for you two to Honeymoon in!

California is a big state. When you say Northern California, it ususally means North of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge. For me I consider Northern California the far North end near Oregon. Populations are definaly much less in that part of the State, so I would think a more poplated area would tend to find something like cricket. I never actually seen cricket played so don;t really know the game. I'll do a little checking and see if I can find anything about it in the State. A few years ago Soccer really took off in popularity in the USA. Its grown to be really popular and a family thing where school age kids travel quite a bit on weekends for meets. It becomes a fairly pricy endevor for parents as it looks to me. By the time you commit to uniforms, and the travel involved, prices of weekends for hotels and meals, gasoline adds up.

I'll see what I can find about cricket.
