Fantastic. Just as good as the first one. I highly recommend you to stop whatever you're doing right now and go see it. Seriously, get off Blackvault and go to the theater. Now.

I've heard some questionable reviews of this one, but I'm sure I'll check it out...if for nothing else, I look forward to the buildup to the Avengers movie. Did you see Thor's cameo? He apparently is in a jail cell at one point while Stark is walking down a hall...that is the one I can't wait for. Directed by Kenneth Branagh, and the early pictures released look very promising.

Zounds!

All I know about Thor being mentioned in IM2 is the scene after the credits.

For your own sake, you gotta stick around for it.

I didn't think it fit under the Sci-Fi moniker.

So it's the right forum. I decree it. :D

It was pretty enjoyable to say the least. The female leads (Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johanson) were forgettable though. Robert D. Jr. was phenomenal, like always (always loved his movie performances). Great choice for a villain, but I as far as the substance of the film goes, I was not too impressed with the climax and the struggle against the villain. I believe they "de-powered" him to a great extent (I'm alluding to the final battle scene). Not to mention, the film slyly promoted privatization as the savior for the world's problems, furthering entrenched the cultural ideological apparatus so tied to American jingoism and corporate imperialism. Other than that, good popcorn flick.

Scarlett Johanson turns everything she touches into gold. So I disagree.
