That means I would be 100% able to obey!

Frrosty, when you talked aobut Pi, the endless nature of the decimal point ment infinity to you, but this one 99.999999999 does not have the same meaning to you. If we agree 100% would be the highest numerical expression of free will, 99.9999999999% is infinate, why does that not compute to you, we have total and complete free will? Even if God limited the eating of the apple, Adam an Eve still have the free will to obey God 100%.

99.9999999999999... where the .9999...part is infinitely repeating IS equal to 100.

I agreee, but Frrosty inturpets a infinitely repeating decimal like this or Pi is infinity.

Anyway, many believers will argue with me til the cows come home on this, but the fact is, if you believe the bible, then you must believe that we do not have 100% free will. We have free will, yes, but we do not have full autonomy.

Adam and Eve had 99.999999999% free will to do what they want without consequence. They could do an infinite number of things, but for 2: Don't eat the fruit from this tree and that tree. Were they satisfied? No. And so it goes. Most of us are utterly and completely dissatisfied unless we have full autonomy.

I didn't say 99.999999999% is a repeating decimal. I gave a finite number. And the number was only meant to mean "very close to 100%." I thought I did an acceptable job of conveying "very close to 100%" without having to use an infinitely repeating decimal. :)

I won't believe I'm really free until I can transform into a giant robot and fly away.

Let us all pray that this happens soon.

Prayer would be a waste of time but if it helps you to fantasize...

One domain where we seem to have the most free will is when it comes to what we believe.

Seems like more than a few people don't exercise that freedom. Their beliefs are basically habits ingrained by circumstance, such as where they were born and what their parents taught them to believe. There may be rudimentary examination of those beliefs later but often enough the beliefs are too entangled with their own sense of identity/personal history for them to allow themselves to honestly and fully analyze those beliefs. Conditioning, ya know...

If our minds are being controlled by higher dimensional entities, then it seems plausible to assume that such entities would require a certain level of unpredictability to occur, therefore allowing them to learn new information with respect to their experimental lower dimensional test subjects. Thus a small amount of free will must be allowed for some of the test animals[us] in the test universe. In other words they know ALMOST everything about us except they can only read some but not all of our thoughts.

So there is a chance, however slight that we can acquire a foothold onto the higher dimensional world to challenge our cruel task-masters. The time for multidimensional revolution is now. Who is with me?
