I watched but I don't understand what you mean about being familiar and "hitting home." Unless you mean they look like Greys/Zeta Recticulans wearing Men in Black suits and you were abducted by one or either. If so please tell.

As for the epsiodes themselves...wow what an opener on the first episode! I'm watching it and not believing it. Then when The Doctor walks out of the back room of the diner saying he wants he special straw because there's more fizz I started to understand.

I thought the astronaut was going to be Neil Armstrong. But now I'm thinking it's the little girl. And wtf is going on with her at the end of the second episode!? How is that possible! It's going to be an exciting ride finding out...Hmmm a theory just came to me. It could be Jenny. The Doctor's cloned daughter. She revived herself once that we know of then went off into space. Maybe the human DNA in her made her regenerate into a younger girl than her original form.

I have to say the Area 51 bit was a disappointment. I was hoping there'd be more to it than that. Like some better reason the doctor was there and more of the story would take place there.

Tricky Dicky was a fun idea. And yes people will never forget him.
