Anyone every discovere a dead body? I did last week. Hope I never have to go through that again.

Wow..freaky

It must have been surreal.
And maybe, kinda traumatizing?

I had a woman 53 years old staying with my elderly mother. My mother woke up last Tuesday from a nap around 2pm, and said the woman had left her alone and taken her dog with her. I went over to my mom's house and found her in the den with eyes wide open and mouth open also. It was a horrible scene. Found out today that she died of a heart attack.

yes................ and its the smell that sticks with you for days.

Glad your Mother was not the one to find her, hope she is not too upset over the ordeal.

I actually washed a dead body. It was a man, he was freshly dead, so still pliable. he was very limp and looked asleep.
(I worked as a CNA in a nursing home years ago for about a year ..a horrible job, fyi..basically, it's body maintinance)
