They didn't need the passport, he was identified via the passenger manifest.

I can answer that. When the government is taken over by crazy power freaks on steroids who start trying to change the country into a different system than the one every American was born into, came to believe in and expects to continue. Very impressive speach, but the problem is 99 times out of 100 if not more, the facts are exagerated and taken totally out of context, with no more proof than opinions or imaginations. What is real proof to your so called standard? I have yet to see anyone on this board, who was sure they were so oppressed by the Patriot act, actually known a single person personally was ever affected by it, arrested or detained. As it turned out, imaginations ran wild and still do over the exagerations of what Bush/Cheney would be doing to Everyone. Everyone said there was going to be mass trials and mass executions at Gitmo too, when in fact neither has happened and hundreds of detainees have been cleared and sent back home. Now its also coming to lite the Speaker of the House knew full well what interogation methods were being used. Big opinions that fizziled in reality, based on imaginations, and adgendas not concerned with the truth, they were concerned with Democrats getting back in office.

As I've stated before it's quite obvious Greeney that you're far far from objective, you toe the GOP Pro-Government line like a dawg guarding a bone. There's nothing wrong with that in the least, I'm positive that I know exactly why you do it and have posted that opinion before. Admit your bias it would be the manly thing to do don't you think.

Any clue what would happen to your son if he was in Jr High today and got caught with a small buck pocket knife in his pocket? Take stepped up LE patrols passed off as Drunk Driving check points~~we have them locally every two weeks or so. Do you know where the funding comes from for that program Greeney, yep the Federal Government. I went through one on a Saturday night and was asked for my drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance to which I refused to provide. You should have seen the look on the guys face when I said " WHY " as well as my wife.

Yes his superior comes over and asks : Is there a problem here, lol yes Sir you're operating a Drunk Driving check point only you're asking for information before you determine if you have a possibly impaired driver. The papers, radio, and TV are calling these Drunk Driving check points and I'm not drunk or impaired so why do I need to jump thorough the loops as if I've committed a violation?

I was immediately told: " Have a nice night " I'm quite sure that it was because he sensed I knew the deal and it was part of their protocol to avoid unnecessary banter but that would just be an assumption on my part.

Now before you start flaming rest assured that if these things were called " Drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance " check points, then obviously those items would have been provided immediately. Maybe you can find Sparty and ask him about all of this before you blather on about something you have to Google.
