I am drinking beer right niw..how long ago was ash wednesday..did I make it a week, at least?
I am such a loser..dammit
also..what kind of punishment does God have in store for me? Breaking my Lent promise and all....
I am not Catholic..or Christian, really..not in the regular sense.
so....
Is this some form of blasphemy?
I feel God is saying something along the lines of..
"Okay, you fell off the horse for one night..get can back on it..it's all good"
what say you?

I say if you're not Catholic don't bother with Lent in the first place. I tried it for a few years then realized it was a Catholic thing and decided that if I'm not one I don't need to follow their traditions.

I don't know for certain if there is a God or many etc. but I'm thinking it judge what I've done and not wipe the slate clean because I gave up some minor thing for awhile.
What if it were true?

So..
I haven't been around because, frankly..so busy.
As you mya or may not know..I homeschool kid (not very well, fyi..but feel it is my best option right now)
So, I am the a lackadaisical type. A master in th eart of procastination. Here in Cali..we go through a charter school. Once a month I meet with a teacher..she givesw us a months worth of assignement that we do daily (NOT) and she checks on it at out next meeting. let's just say..today was the teacher's meeting. Me and kid have been working our butts off catching up. Crikey.Every month I do this and every month I am like, "Next month we will do it on schedule"..it's SUCH a pain in the ass.
BUT watcha' gonna do? Right?
it is what it is. ::sigh::

Hope you are all well..spring is right around the corner..yippy skippy (we are getting worse weather here than MN right now, fyi..WTF??) It's been cold and rainy here..but the plants love it. right? :mrgreen: RIGHT??!! :twisted:

even if you fell off for 3 weeks , Bionic, you are not a loser , and God will always honor any form of sacrifice you make to Him, especially during lent, and even if you fail at it. The fact that you would try, and fail, and keep trying is what shows Him that you are sincere.

I commend you for even trying to make a sacrifice , and I urge you to keep trying. There isn't much more time left for lent, and the graces you may receive from this sacrifice, may be something you will be so grateful for.

Please do not listen to the voices , that have no true faith in Jesus . Though they may mean well, they are not giving you advice that will benefit your soul and spiritual life.

Don't ever think of yourself as a loser Bionic . Maybe you are a sinner at times, but we all fall into that category. Jesus came to die for sinners, not losers. You are a unique and beautiful treasure to Him , and any sacrifice you make on His behalf is cherished and accepted with love.

There is absolutely no proof that that will happen at1with0 .

Even if it were true, why would you even begin to think that everything is pointless because of that?

We are spiritual beings that live forever, and should this world destruct , in no way means that we all die with it. Our Earthly bodies, are just but one part of us.

If you honestly believe that the world will end, that is even more reason for you to accept the salvation of Jesus , so that you can "go Home" and be with our loving Creator and His son Jesus, who suffered greatly for the atonement of our sins.

Please at1with0 , have hope, and faith, in eternal LOVE , and the promises made to us by Our Savior , Jesus.

Leaving this world behind, is really a joy for those who have faith in the much greater life that lays ahead, waiting for us in heaven.

God bless you atwith0 , you are more precious to Jesus than you realize.
