Memorial Weekend - SkyWatch 2012 - Sunday, 9:30 PM - 4 flashes occurring several minutes apart in the same spot in the sky. The flash occurs and appears to be in a single spot (just under Vega), not moving. Within three seconds, it dims and begins to move south. Each one appears and moves the same direction. They appeared first in the eastern sky as a white light as bright as Vega, then dims and "swoops" to the south and disappears completely. I was able to view the 3rd and 4th events through 20x binoculars. No clear shape of the glowing craft could be made out. It appears to be a high energy source either powering a craft to exit orbit or if I were off my rocker, which I am not, it looks exactly like I would expect a craft to look if it was entering orbit from some type of "jump". - A flash, a dim glow of a craft that slowly moves off out of view. I know the skies around me; I know what conventional and military craft look like. I've seen the space shuttle, space station and many countless satellites in orbit. These flashes and glowing, slowly moving objects do not fit any technology or natural phenomenon I am aware of. Meteors don’t move as slowly as these dim lights do after the flash. I do not have the necessary equipment to record these events as of yet.
