Argentina released information yesterday stating that they will be investigating all UFO reports to Presna Latina, a Latin America News Agency. The investigations will start with a commission they are forming that will be made up of specialists in meteorological service, pilots, astronomers, doctors and radar and land experts. The announcement was accompanied by the government leaders saying that they are now viewing UFO’s as a matter of national security.
The Air Force said there had been many times that combat planes had reported following objects they could not identify over Argentina, that were visually spotted or seen on radar, leading them to use resources whether or not a commission exists. Often times, these events took place over restricted air space. Additionally, the local media gave their input saying that they receive dozens of photographs weekly. In both situations, it sometimes is simply a plane or bird in flight and the media admits they have been the victim of hoax videos and photographs, however, there are times where everyone is left wondering.
Although the Argentinian Center for UFO Studies does the best it can, there is a limited end to what they can do when they haven’t had the support of the government to date. The Air Force told press that the country’s military is creating a multi-disciplinary unit, or commission, to investigate all such reports to their fullest in order to detect possible threats and take necessary actions to secure their country and its citizens.
The group will be named ‘The Commission For Investigation of Phenomena Aerospace’ and is set to launch in 3 weeks. They will now be the ones to take all official reports and even cooperate with smaller UFO research groups, such as CEUFO, taking other local reports since some witnesses believe the military is not the route to go when making their reports and fear what will happen to them if the official authorities were to hear what they had to say.
Surrounding countries have become civilian friendly with their cases and each have their own commission. Brazil, for instance, has the ‘System for the Investigation of Unidentified Aerial who has also recently released their so called ‘UFO files’ to the public through use of the archives in Rio de Janeiro.
The move is one that many Americans hope the United States will take. As more and more nations release their files and others recognize the phenomena, whether or not they’re willing to admit possible extraterrestrial activity in some of the cases. Americans want to know. We know that presidents like Bush have already slipped up and made statements saying they are there, but the reasons behind why they won’t say anything is what comes up as a question now. Are they protecting us from something horrible they know would set the world into an out of control riot? Or do they have their own selfish gains to protect?
