Even in such a small country as mine we have followed it. I have been asking around and to my suprise Obama was amazingly well liked here.

You said your “left” and “right” are the wrong way round yes, so that means that are a “righty” yes, meaning that you are a “lefty” (keep with me now) so in turn that makes you a commie yes.

This country is about to swing left like a drunken driver I really believe we are going to end up just as far left, as Bush took us to the right. I don't like it anymore then you do. But I do like the idea of big intrastructure jobs. And moving away from oil as much as possible. And tax breaks for companies bringing jobs back to America. If he goes through with those measures, we will work our way out of this finacial crisis. We will still likely hit bottom, but we will be on a course to climb out of it.
In anycase I still find some room for hope.
Like it or not a new chapter in American history has just begun. And dispite the fact I didn't vote for the man. A part of me is glad I lived to see it. And I am also glad he is a man with the future of two beautiful daughters to consider. Indeed I believe we got the better of the two men we had to choose from. Now I just hope he doesn't leave me eating crow for all I have just written. |

Bush took us more left than right. Bush is no conservative.
The country is center right. Look at all the lies the left had to tell to get elected, they always go conservative to get elected. Then when in DC they blame all the other Dems for not being able to keep their promises. It's a play as old as the left. |
