To my friends here at The Black Vault,
As election day rapidly approaches us early next week, I came across a message that I believe strongly in, and would like to pass on.
No matter who you support, it is worth the 2 minutes from your day to listen. I know there are many issues to consider before we cast our vote, but I feel strongly that the message conveyed in this video, is both strong, important, and overlooked by many.
I am not trying to 'sway' anyones vote with this e-mail, rather, I hope to bring attention to something that has been largely ignored and forgotten by too many as they decide their 2008 Presidential pick.
Please check out:

Thank you all for your time, and please pass this to everyone you know... no matter what country they live in.
Very Sincerely,
John Greenewald, Jr. |

Seems like the last thing considered is the perspective of those who actually went to Iraq and served.
We have all had heated debates back and forth here, and the one thing consistant is how passionate everyone is for their position. This elelction is unpresidented in the choices we have in front of us on Tuesday. To be honest, my absentee ballot has been mailed.
WE all have but one vote to cast, and it is everyones right to vote for the candidate of his/her choice, for which we all have different ideas. The unpresedented part of Tuesday is an African American will run on one ticket, and should they win the USA will probably have the most liberial Exectutive Branch and Congress in History. The other Ticket teams a 5 year POW with a female Vice President, both Conseratives. Either way it is an historic moment in our history, and these are the choices who emerged thru out primary election process. Very similar in the differences on the Blackvault board.
Whoever the next President ends up, majoriety will speak, and a new era in our history will begin. Will it be a complete shift into the liberial end of thinking, or will the conservative side of our thinking decide that is too extreme? Tuesday will tell, and tuesday is all of our rights to speak, and to speak without fear of intimidation of our choice by voting.
Vote for your choice and vote as proud Americans, but the important thing is to get out and vote on Tuesday. |

While I support your words of encouragement toward everyone getting out to vote.
I'm not impressed with the McCain campaignes use of a wounded veteran as a spokesmen to justify an illadvized war sold to the American people under completely false pretenses. As usual it is yet another feable attempt to pull on the patriotic heart strings of the America people. I am half surprised we didn't have McCain chime in with his thousanth rendition of his days as the Hanoi Hilton Song Bird.
Of course I am quite sure that young soldier believes exactly what he said. Like so many soldiers before him he naively believes in what he did because he believed in his leadership. May he be honored and blessed the rest of his days. And may the lieing cowards that misused his patriotism be brought to trial and sentenced for thier crimes. |

Here's what I think.
In the future, all voting should be done electronically from ones own home from ones own personal computer, or if that remains unsecure perhaps an electronic device could be sent out...or perhaps a fingerprint scanner could be used to verify the vote, and then one should be able to "look up" ones vote at any time to make absolutely certain ones vote is demonstrated to be real and accurate.
All (or most) bills, instead of being voted on by "representatives", then could be voted on by each and every american citizen.
I think in this day and age this is the fair way to go. |

For the record, that was NOT an ad done by, paid for, or asked for by the McCain campaign.
It was a video put online by someone else. |

Lets just agree to all agree we should vote for whoever you feel is the best President and Vice President. That may be other than the Republican or Democrats, in may be any of the other parties, or the write in or your choice.
Thats the message for this post.
