Interresting the way the bubble rolls up and around the faceshield than when free quickly goes straight up.
The chinese used up their credibility meter when they faked the little girl singing at the Olympics. This may be real but if it isn't , further advanced missions can;t happen until they can safely walk in space. If they are unprepared for it when they need to space walk, it could be disasterous to the astonauts and their entire space program. There is no good reason to fake it. |

The movement of the astronauts and equipment doesn't look like it's all in water. You'd be able to see the astronauts having to work through the resistance of the water. If you look at the video below, the astronauts need help moving around under water, not the case in the space walk video, where they move around effortlessly.

The "air bubble" was more than likely a reflection in the visor. |

That's what I thought about the resistance as well, the flag doesn't move like it's underwater either.
The bubble clearly isn't a reflection though, it goes up past the visor you can see it easily. |

I could be debris, like paint, lint etc...
I agree the astronauts are moving too fast and resistance free to be in water. There is no deflection on their suits from the pressure wave on the side facing the direction they are moving towards at any time. |

It clearly comes out from under his helmet, if you watch you'll see it. It's obvious it comes from his helmet.
It could be part of his aparatus?? |

| I didn;t see what looked like water motion, which would have affected the motion of the flag. Like I said there is nothing to gain by faking something that will be critical to their space sucess. I just think they put a big question mark on their own credibility with the Olympics. |

| It doesn't make sense. I mean, at least to me, it's obviously an air bubble. If his suit had a leak, the air wouldn't bubble if space is a vacuum. He'd also die.. |

Plus we the USSR, India, ESA etc... all have radars and satellites that were watching the Chinese during their mission. |

We've seen a few releases of their rockets wobbling and keeling over in the recent past. - Rumours of hundreds dying where they fell and set fire to everything.
I am skeptical they managed to put people in space.
... And even if they did I would be even more surprised if they get back home intact.
It looks and acts like an air bubble to me. |

The only problem I have with that is, that if they went to all the trouble of faking it (setting up the huge water tank, the background, the spacecraft, the space suits, etc.), you'd think they would have caught the air bubble during the 100's of hours of editing the footage, and thus would have edited it out.
No, a more likely scenario is that the "air bubble" was edited in by someone wanting to discredit China's claim of a space walk. |
