Will George W. Bush suspend the presidential election using the NATIONAL SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVE/NSPD 51. HOMELAND SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVE/HSPD-20? An economic "catastrophe" being the cause. Where's the vaseline?

It may have something to do with the fact that the 22nd Amendment wasn't in place until 1951.

I don't see it. I know what you are saying, but it just isn't going to happen. And why should it? It's not like the powers that be really care about who wins the election. They will still be...the powers that be. Whether it's Bush, John or Barack, it really won't make a difference, and if you actually go so far as to cancel the election, then you are bringing unwanted (and unnecessary) attention to "the folks behind the curtain."
That is how you get middle America to finally wake up, and I assure you that is not something they want.
