National UFO Information Week Display-August 24, 2002, Westmoreland Mall, Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
UFO Researcher Stan Gordon of Greensburg, PA, is organizing a public display of information and materials concerning the ongoing mystery of Unidentified Flying
Objects (UFO\'s) and other Unexplained phenomena. The one day event will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2002, at the Westmoreland Mall, Route 30 east, in Greensburg. The display is held in conjunction with National UFO Information Week, an event originated by the (MUFON) the Mutual UFO Network, now based in Colorado. This yearly event was established to inform the public that UFO sightings continue to be reported worldwide, and that there is an ongoing
investigation into such matters.
Gordon, who has been researching UFO\'s and other strange encounters in Pennsylvania for nearly 43 years, will be manning the exhibit tables with other researchers from 10 A.M. until 9:30 P.M.. Researchers will be available to answer questions, and hopefully receive reports on local sightings from the public. Gordon who has been investigating for many years, the reported 1965 UFO crash case near Kecksburg, PA, is hopeful that other witnesses who were involved with the incident or who might have information related to it, will come forward. A display of materials pertaining to the Kecksburg case will also be shown.
There will also be continuous showing of Gordon\'s award winning UFO video documentary \"Kecksburg The Untold Story.\"
The display will feature alleged UFO photographs, UFO books and magazines from around the world, government UFO documents, odd artifacts uncovered during investigations of UFO\'s and odd events in PA during past years, and other UFO related information. There will also be a large display on the Bigfoot phenomena. Members of the PA Bigfoot Society, and Gordon will display casts of alleged Bigfoot tracks, and other visual materials concerning these mysterious hair covered manlike creatures, which have been
reported by many residents from all across Pennsylvania and other states.
Gordon states that UFO sightings and Bigfoot reports, as well as many other odd events, are reported yearly from across the Keystone state, but most reports are not publicized. Many UFO sightings have already been reported during 2002.
