Now I have had my close calls with death but recently my heart began to beat irreagularly and i was hospitalized and released. A week ago i had a heart attack, im only 23 by the way, worst pain i have ever felt and i died.
I will never forget what happened to me after i died, i did not float above my body and look down but there was a tunnel and like singing but not voices, it sounded like whales if you have ever heard them. At the end of the tunnel was the light and a figure that untill the day i die will haunt me, it was not his looks because he looked like any other person but it was his feeling it was horrible and beyond evil, its what made me turn back down the tunnel and now here i lay in the hospital still scared of this thing. Has anyone out there had anythg similar or have any insight, it would be greatly appriciated.

Sounds like NDE. Its an awfull experience to handle. My first spontaneous OoBE encountered changed my view of life 360 degrees. In a good way. Keep me posted and ask if you need help.

Is there anyone alive walking around that have been decapitated or run over by a steam-roller? No, of course not; that’s because they are REALLY dead!

It’s impossible to come back from the dead therefore those who experience things like this were not REALLY dead!

Imo what you were experiencing is the brains way of copping with severe trauma …

Hey, sorry to hear about your pain…I hope you feel ok now my friend.

Peace & good luck Wink

Dej…

Interesting. A quick note, though, I think you meant that it turned your life around 180 degrees. A 360 degree turn around would put you back to where you began.

I believe I have had at least one NDE but don't remember it well, except that aquite a long time aferwards I would either oil paint or draw a long tunnel that went off into the distance or I would do a paint and ink drawings of the tunnel. The oil painting was hung over the living room couch by my mother. This was the only drawing or painting that my mother ever liked. I learned later in life what the drawing of the tunnel was about. I may have had a flash back or could possibly have had another NDE. Thanks for posting this. It is a reminder of that time in college when I had the NDE.

Newhavoc_az, I read a book once about OOBE and NDE experiences in the series of different subjects but simplified enough for idiots, or people who are not familiar with the topics, one of those kind, but very informative and very clear and simple to understand. I think if you google for this type of book you will find it and how you can get it. It helped me quite a lot to understand more about what I had experienced.

I wonder if the scary figure you saw at the end of the tunnel was a way to make sure you didn't continue down the tunnel (or rather through the tunnel). From all that I have read, and what I have experienced (even though my experiences haven't been that clear in my memory), that tunnel would have led you to leave your body. Perhaps the scary figure was meant to REALLY scare you so you wouldn't continue that journey and leave your body before it was time. And maybe the scary figure could be a way of letting you know you have some lessons to learn in life regarding negative ways of acting or responding, about how to react to people who treat you cruelly, or even if you have some bad habits you need to look at and change. Just some thoughts. Also do some searching for other sources of information on these that are available in the libraries, book stores, etc.

Best of luck on finding answers to your situation.
P.S.: I do occasionally doodle about the tunnel myself, but not much recently. So, it is still in my mind.
