Over 22,000 view UFO stories

Regardless of whether reports of a UFO sighting in Derry are true, stories about the incident are proving immensely popular on the 'Derry Journal' website.
Our 'Journal' website recorded a staggering 22,196 'hits' since news of a suspected UFO first appeared online. Over 19,000 people viewed the initial story, sent in by Galliagh man, Michael Harkin, while news of its global appeal was viewed by 1,058 people. A further 1,732 people logged on to read Mr Harkin's account of what he saw.
Fake or real, it seems this UFO has certainly caught the public's imagination. |

one thing iv noticed for sure , while there has been an increase of ufo coverage in the news ,
the stories are not played down like they used to be and they are not left as the last light hearted 2 min segment on the show,
lately iv seen expert opinions and interviews, a lot of them are not sceptic opinions anymore and while the interviewer is not always of the belief that aliens have visited earth the interviews do seem more fair and non biased.
I dont know what any one else thinks or if they have been paying attention but this all seems very tactical to me,
as though in the past anchors and journalist were given instructions to down play and make jokes out of ufo stories and now they have been given new instruction to ease up a bit.
does it seems this way to anyone else? |
