Legend states over 900 years ago a Welsh Prince attempted settlement in what is now areas of South Eastern United States. Ruins of Stone dwellings and walls have been found in related sites.

Some Historians have made connections between the Earthlodge dwelling Mandans of North Dakota and Madoc's Welsh Colonists.

Early European and American explorers noted that some of the Mandans had light hair and blue or grey eyes and found similarities in the Mandan and Welsh language. In the Village center there was a crude wooden ship-like structure know as The Ark of the First Man (Madoc ?)

i have read some book's of templar history, some state's that after king's Fillip(the beautiful) massacre on templarian people( i think it was in 11th century) templarian half monk's/half knight's traveled to england, precisely - to scotland. from there they established new order's (Massonic and so on and on) and traveled fourth to america. if you know the story of Oak island "treasure pit", please read it here..

it is possible that many welsh people traveled along with original templar's, because, as i said, they made new order's and from there they could recruit people in their society's.

Wierd, I'm reading a book which centers on this legend. I thought the author made it up Cool

It's a swiftly tilting planet, it's in the same series as a wrinkle in time. Very interesting.
