Transcription of the meeting with the Amazing Kreskin that took place at the Silverton Hotel in Las Vegas, June 3, 2002 regarding the largest UFO sighting in recent history to happen somewhere in the Nevada desert near Las Vegas on Thursday evening June 6, 2002.
KRESKIN: \"I need to have, because the park people and security on the highways are concerned, and I know people are coming from Australia and everywhere else on the earth, I need to have the people, you folks who are seriously interested in being involved, be here not at ten o\'clock. I need to have you here at 7:30.
I have to do a program at 7:30 and you folks can all join. It\'s sort of a performance. At the end of the performance, I will prepare you for the event that\'s going to take place. And the security people with buses and those that want to walk are going to be shown where the location is because ironically enough we\'ve found a piece of the desert that is of considerable size that is very, very close to here, but you must park when you come here by the sign .. the marquee.
The reason I\'m going to have you here for the program is because we\'ve got .. it\'s got to be organized, I don\'t want to have chaos, I don\'t want people all over the desert .....
We don\'t want little kids at this occasion. Don\'t do that. It\'s not fair. Use a little common sense. Don\'t do that. We want people who are competent enough to appreciate and understand what\'s going on, and I love kids, but this just isn\'t the place for them.
Had tried to walk back to the Silverton from Las Vegas ... walked 18 miles, realized I\'m not going to walk through the desert, so we\'ve got to organize, and we\'ve picked a site that\'s dark enough so that the sky and the ground are not confused. And it will be lit there and because there will be television crews and documentary people and they will want to talk to a lot of you to talk about the experience, which I\'ll say one thing, it\'s going to be one of the most unforgettable moments I think, we\'ve had in our lives. I don\'t mean this bragishly or anything, because you know I believe in what I do.
I\'d like you, if you have cell phones, I want you to bring them along. ... not because you\'re going to be taken away..(laughter, jokes) . - this is not something dealing with abductions or aliens, this is not that kind of thing. This is a sighting - and this is a sighting that is going to be extensive. But I need to have you all here.
This is a demonstration I\'ve done with theatre audiences just to see we\'re all thinking along the same lines. I want you to all stand...(here Kreskin did a mind over matter demonstration with our arms).... many of the secrets of the world are held in the collective unconscious... every time you take a breath... proving to you the capacity of tapping into your unconscious mind.. arm starts to rise... don\'t watch me... watch your arm... it goes up up higher - tapped into unconscious mind... you\'re become tuned to me.. your mind, nervous system is causing your arm to go up higher... the next time we do this, which is Thursday at the end of the program, before we leave for this extraordinary excursion, the arm is going to react even more strongly and you\'re going to become even more deeply involved. I\'m going to stop this ... uncanny thing... get your arm down... isn\'t that fascinating? ... (end of experiment)
Don\'t worry about what\'s going to happen. The only thing I do not want to have happen is hysteria, because you will not forget this as long as you live what happens and the experience, it will be that deeply a part of our lives and then, the next day, I\'m going to have a press conference and address a message that I think needs to be said around the world. Not because of me but because of the factors involved and you\'ve all been a part of what I think is exciting, right folks? I\'m going to see you all, now it\'s in a short time but you\'ve gotta be here at 7:30 - park under the marquee... And I\'m going to tell you something. You have no idea how on Cloud 9 I am ..When I made this prediction in March, I didn\'t even know I was going to be here here. What\'s going to happen, and it\'s going to happen in spades. And folks, I tell you, your lives may be changed, not because you\'ve gone on a trip, that\'s Spielberg\'s job, but because you\'re on Earth seeing something else. Godspeed.\"
