How did Ron Paul raise so much money, yet it has not translated into votes during these primaries?
Every time i watch the rep. debates he gets a great response from the crowd. including in myrtle beach where some of the other candidates tried to make him look like a fool. any ideas? |

I figure there are a few reasons. The biggest is probably because of the mentality that "he'll never make it" is so big. That exists because the mainstream media hasn't promoted him as they've promoted the others. So, people are brainwashed into thinking in dem/rep terms and only for those politicians who are owned by the corporations.
Then, we still haven't figured out how to make every vote count. American people accept corruption and crime in our politics. Other countries protest against it. But, not us Americans. We kick back eating junk food, watching TV and laugh at the crimes against us. It's all so frustrating. |

Paul hasn't raised much.
Everyone loves to jump to the conspiracy theories, but the fact of the matter is that Paul does well when it comes to the internet, and all those polls that are done following debates, they are done with the internet and text messaging, and do not require evidence of age or citizenship.
Look at the funds raised...

Paul hasn't raised much at all, it's all much to do about nothing, the media made a big deal about his weekend internet record. And even more, McCain is currently the man to beat in the GOP, yet he has half the funds of Romney. |

Your facts are from freaking July man!
Ron Paul raised over 20 million last quater alone. As it stands this quarter he already has another 3.5 million for this quarter. With multiple Money Bomb days scheduled ahead.
This page will give you his finacial standing from every angle.

Ron Pauls money is coming from the people not the special interests. Check out this current poll for a little eye opener.

Ron Paul Air Corps In The News!
Special Thanks To The Ron Paul Air Force for Sponsoring the flight on January 7 in Concord, New Hampshire!
Launching what will be a nationwide campaign across America's skies to raise awareness and support for Ron Paul's candidacy for President, the Ron Paul Aircorps flew a huge "Ron Paul Revolution" campaign banner by helicopter for four hours on January 3rd over Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The banner, which featured Ron Paul's picture and his "r*evol*ution" logo launched at 2:00 PM from Marion airport and flew over downtown Cedar Rapids for four hours, lasting through rush-hour to get the most impact.

"Wow, when I saw the blimp I thought "Ron Who?" I decided I needed to take the advice on the blimp and look him up on google. So far I am totally amazed. This appears to be the candidate I was waiting for all my life, and a BLIMP TOLD ME ABOUT IT!"

I find politics repulsive and degenerated but since we are stuck with this system of governance and with non better way in sight for now i guess people have to make it with what they are given. Sad.
Ron Paul has some great ideas specially the one about making the government as small as possible. If i was American i would vote for him just because of that single statment alone. I don't think he has anny chance of winning the selection but that shouldn't discourage people from voting for him even though it feels like Sisyphean task more or less. To much power and intrest behind some other players involved..... |
