Ok, I'll admit; that's just wierd....
At first I thought I saw it move with a CG kinda motion. Like the legs but nothing else moved. Upon pausing and going frame by frame, It's just strange. It looks real.....
However, the camera-work seems fishy...they zoom out way to quick, and they just stop talking, expressing no surprise or anything. Then again, they may not have realized what they were looking at.
I'd say this deserves some attention
Anyone got anything on this? |

| Nice easy hoax. I don't know if the cameraman was in on it, but it should definately be considered as a fake horn put on a horse by somebody unless captured DNA proves otherwise. |

I think it is just a really nice video edit. It might just be me, but as the camera is focusing on the unicorn, does it jump to the right? Also, it seems a little suspicious that just as the camera settles on the creature it walks off. Perhaps someone didn't want it to be on screen for too long so mistakes weren't noticed? Anyway, here is a still from the video for anyone wanting a longer look at the unicorn...

| actually i could be a trick of light on the pixels too, things far off on digital video are easily pixelated. Especially when you zoom in on them, I run into that problem alot and have learned to get closer rather than ever use the zoom. |

| wow! that looks so real. But as aquatank said, it could be a trick of light... shadows, etc. Sure looks real though. |

Only a couple ideas, i know sometimes these videos get shown online and will end up being a commercials that someone has removed the advertising parts from.
If we got still frames as it walks away it might show whether the horn is consistant or if it appears to wobble and distort.
The main problem I have with it is not actually the horn but the fact that its on the side of a mountain cliff. I suppose I imagine wild horses only being in open fields. Then again if its real the creature could have just adapted to the terrian it exists in.
Also the distance seems fairly impressive, all you'd probably see is a white dot moving on the moutain. I wouldn't expect any shock or surprised reaction, even on the camcorder screen I doubt you'd see a tiny horn until you went back and watched it full sized.
If your trying to film a wild animal, often theres only a couple seconds before they vanish. So standing out in the open on the side of a cliff I'd believe it would feel some what vulnerable. Then again I don't know if Switzerland even has native horses or even if there would be any predators that would see it as prey? |

nice still....
I dont think the shadowing of the unicorn makes sense considering where the sun appears to be..its almost as if they composed a shadow deliberately to make it appear genuine...
The filmer must have a pretty keen eye hu? |

| Yea, that's a great still. If it's a fake, I think they did a good job pretending to be amateurs with the camera. Can anyone translate what they were saying? |

They are talking about how beautiful the scenery is.
She than says "hey what is that over there?"
He is looking for the spot she points to.
She repeats "no over there."
He finds the spot.
Tries to zoom in and focus.
He says "it's a cow or something."
They never discuss nor think it might be a unicorn. It's not part of the discussion at all. |
