Don't get me wrong, I don't like McCain, but this type of stuff reminds me of what happened to Kerry.
I wish people wouldn't concentrate on his military record but instead on his record in office. I want to know how much he had to do with the current economy and what he has benefitted from it. I know that information exists. I've read bits and pieces, but don't have time to do much more. |

however, it IS important to note, that bigger guys than big mac fell to whatever interests are responsible for the MIA question.
i guess there are some things, ( amongst more than a few) that people aren't supposed to know, or ask, or look into.
some things are best left unknown, unquestioned, and forgotten.
at least if one wants to rise to the top of the power pile.
kinda makes you wonder eh? |

No rank, no branch of service, like every OTHER Vietnam Veteran production.
How am I supposed to know these people are actually Vietnam Vets?
Edit: Whoops, nevermind. a 90 year old retired CORPORAL. This video is flagged propaganda. It's simply impossible to do 20 years in the military and only have the rank of Corporal unless he got busted down like 4-5 times in his career. |

| Peculiar what clarity arises from good and stable sources. Not being a real military man myself, I woulda never caught that. Hell my instinct was to blast this piece considering the source and the peanut gallery, but my ignorance kept me quite...advice some here should take. Guess I ain't to far off the real mark. Amazingly, that sounds like the same guys that went after Bush. Let them attack all they want. Kerry was a good man, so is Bush the USAF Interceptor pilot, McCain the USN Attack pilot, and all the other retired veterans in Government service.
Then again, lots of folk here probably didn't like USMC Col. Oliver North, either, and I have the deepest respect and sympathy for the man that was caught between the Devil and the deep blue sea. (Fawn Hall was the ultimate secretary...) |

What these Vietnam vets are doing (if there is any legitimacy to this at all, which I don't know... it looks shaky) is perfectly fair, just as the swiftboat Vets' actions were fair.
The only thing unfair would be if someone condemned the swiftboat vets for what they did, then turned around and championed this effort. That would be hypocritical.
It didn't take the swiftboat vets to convince me Kerry was a very unpatriotic person at least in the past. Swiftboat vets or not, I already had plenty of evidence.
But McCain on the other hand did spend 6 years as a Vietnam POW so fair or not, I would need even more evidence--good, solid evidence--to cause me to question his war record or patriotism. |

Back then in that era the highest rank received would have been corporal. Sometimes even private first class. |

| Why is it that ever since Kerry's Military record was questioned, everyone is trying to find faults in Mcain's record. First he was a POW he endured un-thinkable torture,things we see in the movies. He deserves our respect and gratitude. So if you dont agree with his political views, dont vote for him. Let stop bashing one of our military heroes who was locked away for six years of his life. |
