The US President can now waive or secretly change Executive Orders. Executive orders are not a constitutional power, (The Executive Order is an unwritten law or implied power which technically should be illegal in a democracy or republic) they are pigeonholed bills from the President that if they are voted on in Congress become law by being admitted into the congressional record. Apparently they can even bypass Congrees entirely now to be modified at the President's whim.

In the story Starship Troopers we learn that "Services means citzenship", that is to have the right to vote you must serve in the military. In our own country we have seen grandfather laws used to keep people from voting, aka if your grandfather wasn't free you can't vote. In many states we've seen convicted felons lose their vote permanantly. Now we see this unconstitutional ugliness rise agin, this time in Macomb County, Michigan. Under the guise of preventing voting fraud the Republican party chairman there has proposed disenfranchising anyone whose house has been foreclosed.

Think about this carefully with the downfall of major banks and the mortgages not reverting to the lendees foreclosures will make a steep rise from one that is already spiralling out of control. People generally stay in the house and try to bargain there way out of foreclosures hoping for re-finance. Yet now we have some neo-stealth fascists trying to take away the famalies constitutional right to have a say in their own government. Hopefully this unconstitutional practice will be put down before it spreads, but in a country where fear of "uncontrollable" economic meltdownis being spread by the Major Media [code for Rightwing fascist bootlickers], and can only be saved by saving the rich such practices may stay entrenched for decades to come. |

The voting challenge is a double edged sword, and it is not new by any means. 1960 Presidential Campaign is where this originally started. Kennedy somehow won Ohio using a bunch of dead people living at addresses that either no longer existed or were owned under different families. It was easy to get away with since the housing market absolutely boomed right after the Korean War. This is what happens when history comes back full swing to bite you in the ass. |

| The difference now is foreclosures are rampant, and purges of voter rolls are more common. It is apparently easier to disenfranchise oppoisition vorers than drum up dead ones today. If you go back to the very start of this thread you may note, If it is there anymore, that somewhere over 70000 voters were disenfranchised in Florida because of a purge list which put similar names together. However My concern over the foreclosure equals no vote also comes down to the impression that it may become foreclosure means no legal rights whatsoever and eventual serfdom in the distant future. Its not a very likeable idea. |

Everyonce in a while a leftward swing towards centrism stops a fascist move. In Michigan officials recently told local officials taht foreclosure lists aren't enough to deny voters access they need more proof to prove vote fraud, thusly some voters wont be illegally stopped from their patriotic duty in November.

| The Ohio Department of Agriculture of agriculture and a SWAT team a family at gun pioint for nine hours December 1 2008 and consfiscated ten thousand dollars worth of food, computers, cell phones. The aparent conflict licesing over a members only food co-op which the family says they did not need. A SWAT team is used over a licensing complaint over food?! Juts sending deputy or two over to issue a warrant and citation wasn't simple enough? This is Food people not narcotics or arms. Dude! I'm so glad you posted this! I think this deserves its own thread as well. I may put one up in the health area, if you don't mind. These guys are all about organic and all.
This whole thing just reeks of Monsanto and the SPP...fricken gestapo tactics! I was so mad when I first read this!

| Actually it reeks of typical Ohio bureaucratic & legislative corruption. It's probably more along the lines of "how dare they avoid sales taxes & permit fees." There's actually gleaning that happens in the state, provided you know its happening, so the slap is most likely over fees and the SWAT team used as state terrorism to set an example to other do-gooders. |

I'm sure its more state corruption look at Blackwell, Noe, the problems regarding Election boards, the 2000 & 2004 elcetions and how things are on ballots or put into law as this thread has often shown and you'll see its typical of Ohio. But I'm sure there are worse state bureaucracies too.
I agree Monsanto is trouble though, and most of the state's farmers do seem to use its products, especially Roundup. |

| I know this. Henry Ford is rolling over in his grave with Ford, and GM and Chrysler, begging for handouts from the government (aka your tax dollars). The large corporations in America are now all run by socialist elitists who think they have a right to your wallet. Never mind that they are incompetent boobs who can't run their business worth a $hit, the government will protect them from any consequences. The problem just gets worse. I've bought my last American car (and I've NEVER purchased any Chrysler product thanks to Lee I a cacca). |

Back to the Fascist State question:
What is being attempted in the US and other parts of the world is to bring back the system of defined classes. The wealthy elites, corporate management, elected government, educated employees, un-/under-educated employees (manual labor), and the poor/young/old/infirm, will each be a class that will be legislated into law. In essence, at least in some ways, we are already there (see corporate bailouts). There will be laws that keep rich people rich, and laws that keep poor people poor. When a law won't do they will resort to "other means" and that means oppression and violence.
That is the New World Order. And the plan is going like clockwork. They will wipe out centuries of human progress. It is indeed a dark time for the human race ahead.
The systematic destruction of capitalism is the current task. Add to that the destruction of religion and freedom. You no longer have any God given rights if there is no God. Anything that empowers the individual must go. |
