and doesn't know what a vice president does, or if she got money for a bridge.

So Obama studied law for 12 years? Woopie doo! Bush went to Harvard business school... Obviously that didn't translate into being able to manage an economy, just as Obama's 12 years in law hasn't made him capable of authoring a single piece of legislature.

I prefer this type of change to the lie that Obama used .
He calls for change then puts one of the longest acting members of Congress on his ticket.This is change how? I love the fact that Obama is now on the campaign trail spewing how McCain had been in the Senate for 26 years. Well Biden has been there longer than McCain.
Some change there Obama ! Palin is more qualified for VP than Obama is qualified for President. Obama should be running for VP instead he'd have a better chance .

All Obama has repeated and repeated is the punch lines about "same old Bush 8 years". He said absolutly nothing in the past 5 days how he would fix this stock market plunge. Biden has said just about nothing in the last several weeks. They are trying so hard to discredit Palin, Biden is flying totoally undetected and not even discussed. The campaign has shifted as if Palin was running against Obama.
Just for the record, evutch your sexist opinions and trash talk, goes right along with a few others here, that have nothing better to offer. Speaks volumes for you as a person. |

No one person can "fix" the market....Big Business caused this...Big Business can suffer....those CEOs with their "golden parachutes" losing all their money...taking the rest of us down with them.

Well at least you said something right! You can even go back into the Clinton years where the CEO's have screwed this country royally. All the Dot.Coms that drove the price up, than they all collapased, after billions of $$$ was invested by amatures doing daily stock trading. They get these big golden parachute clauses becasue its the top is dealing with the top in levels. #$^k all the people below them, and when these foxes are in the henhouse. CEO's rarly get prosocuted for crimes, because they mostly get placed into the civil catagories and company performance lawsuits that take decades. Just like employee illness lawsuits, they delay in hopes you will die in the meantime.
The CEO's hold more of our future than anyone, and control the lower and middle classes totally. They regulate us with farming out work overseas, leaving the job markets sparce, and therefore saleries and benifits. They operate industires that have no unions and pay minimum wages, or you can go take a hike, 100 more are waiting for the job. Why do you think we are all getting benifits taken away? Why do you think nobody is hired with pension plans now. I'm one of the lucky ones who probably is the last generation to have pensions. 401K plans are at their mercy, as employees trust their employers with them. Where do you go when the banks are failing, and the 401K's fluxuate 10-25% in a month. In the next 10-15 years millions will start collecting SS, as the baby boomers retire, so these companies all want to get out of pension agreements.
So everyone blames Bush again, instead of placing blame where it should be on greedy CEO's. They buy and sell corparations and the lives of people with them for many reasons. The people who made them rich, are no more than pawns for the rich to sacrafice. The foremost is a tools to get out of entitlments, retirement and insurance obligations, and slash the labor rates, when they move and sell companies. Boeing made Billions off my company, but sold us and all the people in it, like we were expendable. They knew the new owner was going to put the screws to us, and had no loyalty whatsoever to the people who went with the sale. Talk about being used, abused and discarded for profit. I have no doubt that the aerospace giants work out deals to buy companies like mine, bascially trade ownership all around, which gives them the loophole to stick it to the workers. They get out of decades of promises to workers after they gave their lives to sweating out profits for the CEO's to get hidious boneses, and live like Kings. Because they regulate and control the job market by outsoursing, you are powerless, and the best they hope for is to Strike. Go ahead, walk out, and we will replace you in a heatbeat. When companies fail, CEO's should not have a windfall profit, when the workers walk away with nothing. |
