TNuke, you have to keep an open mind about all possibilities, including the strong possibility that the UFO phenomenon was played upon by the US government as an effective distraction from secret programs. This doesn't mean that a UFO didn't crash at Roswell; it is officially a UFO crash by default as whatever crashed remains officially unidentified to this day.
I've heard all manner of theories, including one given by the security chief of Holloman AFB when it was called Alamagordo Field: a Project Skyhook balloon being used for testing high altitude ejection survival equipment. One of those balloons crashed near Roswell, and photos of it were published in a book about test pilots years ago. The test was not full scale and neither were the dummies, everything made half size to ensure the balloon's altitude capability (under load) wasn't exceeded.
Not debunking, just debating. Meantime, about the effects of negative pressure: you'll be surprised by what can happen, including blood escaping from pores and mucous membranes. The swimming pool analogy doesn't apply.

First of all I don´t want to believe, I want to KNOW.
That´s the difference between Science and Religion.
Believing doesn´t lead you anywhere in the end.
And Mulder would never have found out much of his "truth" if it wasn´t for Scully because she wanted to know not just believe.
Second, The flying saucer theory came from Kenneth Arnold in the modern world and I have no doubts that atleast 2/3 of all sightings made by people are just "brainwashed" and feared claims originated from Kenneth´s sighting.
I have no doubt that a UFO crashed in Roswell although doesn´t mean it was Alien.
It could be Man, it could be Dimensional or even some sort of future human craft...
Nevertheless it is a good post and like my marsipan friend said, you should be more open to other possibillities other than it being an alien craft.
Remember most people are easily blinded by their own fears and ideas.
Since UFO:s were like the biggest news at that time, wouldn´t be off reach to think that the first thing that would pop into their minds were aliens. |

That article doesn´t say anything I´ve already read and investigated in my life.
Where is the proff in that?
I`m not saying aliens do not exist, I know they exist, I`m questioning Roswell not aliens in general.
Knowing is having proff of aliens like DNA or unknown metals etc etc...
If you think that men like astronouts have more credability than regular people then that´s not knowing it´s believing sorry. |

I think some people are afraid that there might be aliens out there that are more advanced than humans and therefore smarter and wiser. They might have something to say about politics on this planet huh? Pretending it doesn't exist isn't going to make it go away.

Perhaps we need to be clear on what we believe. That would be helpful. Seems to me that the arguments against Roswell are usually from those who believe the universe is empty. I assumed that was true of you. If not then, sorry.
But I still don't get the almost hysterical rants people go on to disprove Roswell. Its very odd. Not to mention that anytime you mention anything about chimpanzees, people automatically chuckle.

Jimps, as Wernher put it, were not used until the 1950's. And the only reason to use jimps was so they could fly at low altitude to get under Soviet radar and drop The Bomb without having to worry about getting out of the way. Soooo, once again, there is no decompression involved. And, for heads to swell up the "creature" must survive long enough for that to happen and they did not at Roswell. Oh yeah, almost forgot, the size and mass of The Bomb in 1947 was, oh lets call it FRIGGIN HUGE and REALLLLY HEAVY. And therefore, you need a BIG plane to carry said Bomb that is FRIGGIN HUGE and REALLLLY HEAVY. See the prob? Ain't no jimps gonna be flying no B-52's, and flying B-29's takes some real skill. Monkey theory go booom! |

The politicians got into power because of their lies not their loyalty.
Just saying that it doesn´t matter how much proff there is, but unless you didn´t witness it and studied it personally you can never be sure.
