This is the first time we have been called a scam. But I do see what you’re talking about. We are just starting out and are not set up all the way yet. The one sticking point is in filling our form 1023 with the IRS. We have an accountant that is going to do just that here vary soon. With out that, we are not able to accept donations. Paypal needs proof that it is filed before we can operate. I sent people to the site just to learn of the project but maybe we jumped the gun a bit by doing that. Some of the people involved really want to see this take off and we are just trying to get the word out.
This whole idea started almost a year ago in the forum at the ufodbase. Now we are a full blown nonprofit org ready to make this happen. We do plan to do the “show” circuits to get the word out. Kevin Smith of the Kevin Smith Show is interested and that will probably be the first show. D I C K Criswell is on our board of directors and has experience in the talk show circuit.
As for funding, it will take everyone in the UFO community make this happen. They are millions strong from all over the world now thanks to the internet. Then there are people like Paul Allen, who funded the Allen Array for SETI research. There are plenty of folks like that to get donations from. Government Grants, and not to forget Hollywood. They have been making billions on alien movies, now its time for the real thing. I am sure some in Hollywood will donate. There are some governments that would like answers too. We really don’t think it will be a problem to raise the money but it will take time. Intil we everything in order, I am refraining from do any shows. We will prove that we are not a scam. I am including a pic of our certificate from the state of Ohio for the nonprofit.
Just stay tuned, we will be fully in operation soon. That’s when you will see that we are not a Scam. Keep asking those questions. That’s how we learn and grow as a team. Thank You.

Or run it at home for free.

So in a nut shell you want to place a satellite in orbit in order to photograph a UFO or things we don’t know about flying around in our atmosphere 
If the government/authorities know they exist & all the conspiracy theories are right; do you honestly believe they will allow you to send up a satellite to photograph them??  It’s the same as allowing you to walk in & around area 51 taking snap shots! & they don’t mind: “Na no worries Dave… you take as many pics as you want my friend” YEAH AS IF!!!!!
Let’s just say UFO’s or ‘intelligently controlled aerial vehicles of unknown origin’ (however you want to describe them) really do exist out there & you do manage to get this ludicrous project up & running:
What are the chances of one flying into view, at the right time, the right place, under the right circumstances in order for it to be photographed etc?
What if you do actually photograph something suspicious?
What will you do with the photograph/s?
What do you think will happen?
What can happen?
What do you expect to achieve?
Apparently (according to some) NASA have already done what you want 200 million for!  A few people believe NASA have filmed real ufo’s but it’s only a few (Why NASA would release footage of stuff they don’t want us to see is a bit dumb to me but hey, what do I know  ) so what makes you think people will believe you when you upload your incredible findings to your site/ youtube etc etc etc whatever????

If the gov won't allow it, will be interesting seeing their reasons,
As for cotton socks... someone has to try. Not all of us can be the voice of pessimism. Though it must be easier than trying.
Must be nice and cozy on the dark side of the fence. |

Coming from someone who’s interested or not I think they are perfectly logical questions that obviously no one on the team can answer! IMHO
As someone already mentioned; the only link that actually works (on what I can only assume is the official web site) is the donation link  hmmm funny enough. This will increase the confidence of potential donators; not!
If the web site is anything to go by then I can’t wait for the attempt at raising 200 million dollars & releasing a highly sophisticated satellite into orbit. Should be fascinating |

Dave...care to PM me about your site after you read this? Help getting it off the ground may be available, it'll be a nice change from posting 'what-we're-planning-to-do' statements. I'm no expert, but all my links work.
Also, feedback on my own website and its content would be welcome. Designed, built and published by me, it's a first attempt that's been online since March of this year. |
