Hi My Name is Jack Ward and I'm one of the hosts of The Sonic Society podcast.
I'm a huge fan of Black Vault, although I'm a little late to the gate to find you. Thanks John. I used to listen to The Art Bell show when I could find it (it was way too late for me to get it live).
I've been a huge fan of this topic (Alien presence on Earth and in the Skies) for a long time, and certainly it makes me no strange to sci fi and fantasy.
Heck, in some ways, I think that shows like The X-Files and other alien shows have done a disservice to what we could accomplish because of the way it kind of placates the modern mindset.
I can't tell you how many times I've shown someone for example "The Disclosure Project" or something by Stan Friedman to have them say. "Oh, I've seen that before on TV."
There's this misconception somehow that if it can be recreated through entertainment or through scientific means "naturally" then it cannot possibly be true or outside our common purvey.
I call this the "Amazing Randy Effect". You know him. He's the guy who's offered a million dollars for intangible proof of paranormal phenomena.
(Dear Amazing Kreskin, please collect your money from Amazing Randy, with affection, Jack)
But the truth is, if we can create lightning in a lab... does this mean it doesn't exist?
Seriously, there's some flawed logic here.
Part of me has always wanted to do a podcast on unexplained phenomena here in Canada.. I even went so far as to come up with a title of the show, but I'm just too busy with the Sonic Society and now podcasting my novel.
I'm just really pleased to know John's doing his thing and working away at chiseling this monolith that keeps us from knowing the absolute truth.
Keep at it John, and everyone else.
You may have heard it before or seen it before, but the truth IS out there.
Let's just not wait for next season to find it out.
