What if there were a few scimitar toothed cats like Homotherium or Dinofelis running around in some of our more remote National Forests ?

Yeah, but what about the Crypto-Critters who stay holed-up during the day and go 'a slinking' through neighborhoods during late to early hours.

Those "What the fresh hell waz that !" moments while driving home from a second shift job, tavern, friends or family. Depending where you are, and if there is hardly to no other traffic.

Well, though we've been pretty thorough we haven't screwed up all the land or catalogued every critter. Come down here to backwoods Florida for a spell, we'll hook you up with some good critters, some known and some not.

First things I learned of were the woodland and red widows, sisters to the black version. Then there was the Technicolor-yellow spider the size of a robin with the black fur tufts on its legs. The Huntsman spiders that challenged me for domination while I was repairing phone wires and insulation, had to shoot some of them with my staple gun. And that's just the eight-legged critters! We've got LOTS more...

Anyway, the known and semi-known species will keep you busy enough you won't bother shaving the hair off an ugly dog and taping it, or trying to pass off a man in a gorilla suit as Bigfoot.

Got gators?

No thanks, I lived down there for a spell close to 30 years ago. Too hot and flat for me.

Kinda hot, definitely flat. I'm a much better shot with staple-guns than I used to be...saw a mosquito last night big enough they turned on the runway lights at the airport for him...
