Yup, I surely did. But I still maintain that Sturgis is not the biker brawl that it was 40 years ago. As for the off duty cop that was bullet happy in a Sturgis bar last week, I'm really not surprised. Obviously he has a temper and he's on a power trip. It would be great if the State of SD throws his ass in the slammer for a long time. But they probably won't. The HA will track him down a few years from now and take care of him on the sly.
The Seattle police officer who reportedly shot a known member of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang at a weeklong rally in South Dakota was previously disciplined, once for taunting fans at a football game and another time for allegedly threatening to shoot a restaurant manager who had asked him to leave.

Bloo you are dead on.
Most of the Bike week's are that way now.
Laconia, Lake George, Daytona, Sturgis and others are 10x's calmer then they were even 10 years ago. No more Jap Bike Burn piles even.
There are always a few in the bunch that still act up but no where near the number that used to. |

Nothing wrong with owning a MotorBike or riding in a Club, but most of the clubs/gangs around here when not running coke, meth or whores are in full support of McCain and have a low opinion of anyone not -
