Tonight,
Richard Criswell will be on the Kevin Smith Show at 10 eastern time US. He will mention the project and invites anybody to call in to the show. You can listen at www.kevinsmithshow.com and click on the listen live links.
We have been waiting on an accountant to file our paperwork with the IRS. thingy Criswell was haveing his accountant take care of it but he was in a car wreck. Luckly i found a local one that is interested and is calling back tomorrow or Friday. He thinks we can do it in a day. That is good news and i will keep everyone updated. Then we can start the donations.

Surveys say 34% of humans believe in UFOs, but probably only about 30 percent or less of the 6,684,000,000 people on Earth have money. (And that's an optimistic figure.)
I think we can do it even if everyone who donates gives a single dollar. |

How many of this 30% have a computer? For those who have a computer; how many know of this project? Where do you & those who are involved advertise? 100/150 million is estimated??? Do you honestly think you will raise the funds?? ….. Honestly; I really do hope you haven’t put hard earned cash into this ludicrous project! Yep, you still fascinate me MG  but hey, what do I know. Our reality is built by architects and dreamers. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Better than waiting around for UFOs to come land in front of our rolling cameras.
Once Dave has an accountant to prepare the non-profit paperwork which cost $750, he will begin going on radio shows to get the word out. Advertising isn't an easy thing to get going, but considering the projects nature, we assume people will want to talk to Dave about it. Dick Criswell and Kevin Smith have been in communication with Dave so Kevin's show as well as C2C are interested in the project. Everyone seems optimistic about the project and once word is spread we hope to get Dave on TV. Larry King seems to be doing his part in disclosure, or at least riding the wagon that UFOs send frequently through town. Nothing to do but try.

Not easy for beginners to get done but it's something that lays out the basics of the project.
We have posted messages here, MUFON, OMF, BOTH, Casebook, as well as many others. Responses are positive. Lots of questions need to be answered as you'd expect from potential donators. Excitement is high.

what happens with the donated money, if you - unlikely - wont be able to collect the 100-150 million dollars you estimate?
I must admit that i really do hope that people are intelligent enough to not waste their money on a "project" like this.
Its just too far fetched... |

This is the problem about mentioning things too soon,
Once people can see the plans laid out by the engineering company, along with all flight and regulations data, perhaps people will be more willing to donate. So far non profit business license is done, Tax deductible forms being filled out.
I'll ask Dave Shock what happens to the money if not enough donations, though I do believe that once a certain amount has been raised and proper project exposure is attained, the remainder will fill in quickly.

This is David Shock. Mr.gray asked that i come here to answer a question. I would like to thank all whom are interested in the Project. But, "far fetched"?.. In this day and age, it is not a far fetched idea. I really can't believe that no one has done this before. Now, what if we do fail and there is millions in our account. Where would the money go. Since this is a world wide project, it must go to a world wide nonprofit. There are many organizations to choose from. The world for bank, cancer research. I think you get the idea, there is many options. I really don't think we will fail. David Sereda has offerd his help and Dick Criswell is on the board of directors and we will get the word out. You wont need a computer to Know about the project when we get going.

I have spoken to the FAA, they cover all space flight and launches now. That includes human flight. I have spoken to the manugacture and they said that there are literlly hundreds of private satellite's in the sky. That our's would be no problem. I am assured of that. There is a clause that they can shut us down in a national security situation. Only temp though. Since we are a camera platform.
We can do this but we need everybody to stand behind it. It is for all of us to finally find out for our self's.

Well, i obviously wish you the best of luck - but i'm far from convinced.
100 million dollars in donations. I just cant see that happen tbh.
And when i look at the project right now, as a perosn with no relations to you guys, or the guys that you mention in your answer to me, it looks like a hoax (i'm not saying that it is - it just looks like it).
A couple of radio interviews from stations that i've never heard of.
A homepage that only has one link working (the link asking for donations ofcourse)
And then a couple of forum posts.
I hope that you prove me wrong, but i think that you will need a whole lot more of documentation, a whole lot more of media coverage (international media coverage, not local cable), if you expect to collect more than a couple of 100$
*edit*
Just take TBV as an example. 289$ a month is asked for this incredible site, which has taken years and years of hard work to get up and running, and with 36 thousand(!) registered users! + all of those who are not registered. And even that goal looks hard to reach, month after month. |
