I have been thinking...
I wonder Mr.Greenewald if this is originally made for top secret UFO documents and everything related to UFO:s then why is there all these other topics about terrorism,discrimination and so on in the first place?
Not saying that it is bad but it sometimes feels like they take the focus from the main reason to why you made this site in the first place.
Anyway, I love this site and your work!

Yep,
I don't remember if it was in his video on Yahoo, (I think Yahoo...), or his radio show, but I remember hearing him say it was originally for UFO documents. I know with my site I did the same thing. I expanded to allow more discussions in more topics. It can seem to take away from the original purpose but most people find their way into the UFO section without problems. You can call it diversifying to cater to a larger audience. I know with my site I started realizing I wanted to share more info on other things that interested me, too. This makes coming to your own site that much more fun. Surfing to see what others find and share.
PS: There is a fine line between a humongous site and a labyrinth, though. But I think we both have found a happy medium just below the labyrinth category.

As John started recieving documents in the beginning, the first ones were from the National Archives. As time went on, he realized how much of this spread to other governement agencies, so began sending FOIR to everyone from the FBI, CIA, NSA, countless other military places and bases. He discoved how many places he turned the difficulty of obtaining things were, and how much they were whited and blacked out. It all began overlapping into secret government projects, secret names, code names, and expanded into all kinds of government things way beyond UFO's. As you can see now its a lot of governement secret areas. AT one time he had a separate website with the FBI files of famous people, but rolled it into the Blackvault.
When the message board started, it grew the same way, and now includes many forums as things veered off subject and people requested speparate forums for many things. |

i must say that the ufo / alien subjects on this site do seem to take a back seat.
but i do understand why we have the other subjects.
just a shame that most people on here talk mainly politics, and the rights and wrongs of the world etc
after all, we can go to any website and get invovled in those discussions.
i do come back a few times a week just to see the odd ufo /alien threads that are started, but you dont get many compared to the other subjects mentioned.
which is why i would imagine the other subject where added |
